We Can Save True Hardwood Floors

There are many reasons that you want to call SERVPRO of Vicksburg & Yazoo, and one of those reasons is the equipment that we use on the job site. Not only do we use air movers and dehumidifiers, but we also have specialty drying equipment as well. 

One of those pieces of equipment that we have is our Injectidry system. SERVPRO of Vicksburg & Yazoo is the only mitigation in the area that uses this system.  The Injectidry system is used when a loss has occurred and hardwood floors are affected. Unless the floor has begun to buckle, the Injectidry can be used to potentially save the hardwood flooring instead of having to pull and replace it. The Injectidry system contains a series of mats that are sealed tight to the floor, and the mats have hoses attached to the top that are hooked up to a vacuum that pulls the water out from underneath the floor. The water travels to a filling tank where it can be dumped out. We have saved many floors by using this system!
