• Make sure you have proper insulation

• If there are any supply lines in the garage keep the garage door closed.
• Keeping cabinet doors open to allow warm air to circulate around the plumbing.
• Allow cold water to trickle from your faucet when it is extremely cold outside to help prevent your pipes from freezing.
